Hello! I'm Theodora, the artist behind the lens of Theodora Ofosuhima. I'm a black star, a Ghanaian-Italian lifestyle photographer-writer based in Saskatchewan. I'm married mother of two. My family is my rock, my children my pride and greatest achievement.
At the tender age of thirteen I became the photo developer in a photo-optics shop in Italy. It was here that I fell in love with photography, but it wasn’t until 2014 that I began to consider photography a potential career. Before that I graduated in UK with a degree in English Literature and History then moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, had two children and finished writing my first novel Wasting Away. Thanks to my diverse cultural background, love for arts and humanities, I'm drawn to photos that tell a story.
Natural light, brightness and bold colours speak volumes to me. I love to capture emotions, the fleeting moments that are easily forgotten. For me beauty is in the simple things around, that's what matter the most.
When we're working together my priority is your comfort and your story. I would be there do document a smile, a laugh and maybe even a cry... always unfolding the emotions that enveloped you in the now and here moment.
I would love to work with you to preserve your family's emotions for a lifetime.
